ENLACE works to alleviate poverty in El Salvador through serving local churches and accompanying communities in transformation. We are so thankful for the people who have heard and responded to the call to support our work as ENLACE missionaries.
ENLACE believes the local church to be the primary agent to transform poor communities in El Salvador. Through making a long-term commitment to a local church and envisioning community transformation, ENLACE equips the church to become an effective agent of change.
ENLACE walks alongside local church and community leaders as they identify, design and manage sustainable development initiatives. Such initiatives have included five water systems (benefiting over 15,000 people), micro-loans (1,600 loans totaling more than one million dollars), preventative health education, health clinics (250 people served per month), new block homes for more than 220 families, sanitation facilities for more than 300 families among other sustainable projects.
